114th Anniversary Of Rufino Tamayo

Today I found on Google a nice “doodle”of the Mexican painter and muralist Rufino Tamayo. His biography says that he was born in Oaxaca in 1899 and died in Mexico City in 1991. He was a main figure on muralist movement of the 20th Century together with Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Jose Clemente Orozco. His painting style is about Mexican popular art and contemporary surrealism. One of his most famous mural is The fight of the day and night.
